Readings for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today, we hear the parable of the wedding feast. It is a hard parable that challenges us to ask ourselves- how well are we wearing our garment of faith? If I were to be put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict me?

For Dorothy Day-The Water Striders

“Do what you
would wish
them to do
unto you”
a voice whispered
and she responded
with hospitality

with soup and
benches

and bags of
clothing
